Don’t have a PHOTO ID?
The Moore County Board of Elections
can provide you with a FREE PHOTO ID at their Carthage office
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. 


A Photo ID is required for voting: TAKE YOUR PHOTO ID WHEN YOU GO TO VOTE! For most voters, this is a driver’s license. If you need one, free ID’s are available at the Board of Elections in Carthage during business hours. The list of accepted IDs can be found at ncsbe.gov.

Have issues voting?? If voters have an issue with being able to vote, they can request a Provisional Ballot, which is preserved and protected in a certification envelope until the voter's qualifications are determined.
